(95% Merlot,5% Petit Verdot)vines:25y- oak barrels(12m-18m) The family estate launch in 1946 by Jean Clause Ballet’s grandfather, Cyprien Furt, with only 5 ha, has been take over 16 years after by his grandson and now by Nathalie and Bruno. Today, the estate covers 57ha of vines and produces 2 wines Château Jean Dugay and Château La Caussade. The vines of Chateau Jean Dugay are on the west of the town of Vayres on a gravelly sandy plateau ideally exposed overlooking the medieval castle of Vayres.
