Valentini Monteregio Di Marittima (Vivoli)

The Fiordaliso estate is found nestled in the gentle hills that are home to the Monteregio D.O.C. wine, situated in the historical municipality
of Massa Marittima (GR) in the Valpiana area. It is north of Maremma, in between Montecucco and Bolgheri. The estate is family-run, and their careful, enthusiastic wine-growing, along with a smaller production of olive oil and cork (which comes from the large area of woodlands bordering the estate) is all carried out on a human scale.

The location of the vineyards and the aim for high quality wine mean low yields (1.5 kg of grapes per vine). Combine that with the viticulture’s low environmental impact and you have all the characteristics of a great estate produced wine. Among the rows of vines are 2.5 hectares of Sangiovese, 1 hectare of Syrah, 1 hectare of Merlot, and 1 hectare of Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside the same amount of Vermentino vines.
