Vignobles Cheneau

The Cheneau family has been making wines in the Muscadet region for 9 generations! Christophe and Philippe (the 2 brothers) and Maxime (Christophe’s son) now own and manage 4 different estates in the heart of the Muscadet between the Sevre and the Maine rivers. Their vineyards cover overall 160 acres. The wines are made in each estate winery facility. The tradition in the Cheneau family is to do a long fermentation at cold temperature, for 3 to 5 weeks, which gives their wines very concentrated aromas. The wines are then aged in vats for 6 to 9 months. The result is beautiful Muscadet wines which are deep and unctuous with light spicy hints and a fresh mouth. Featuring the Breton flag as label, to reaffirm the Breton identity of their region and their wines.
