Vitikin

Vitkin winery was established on the Rutenberg-Belogolovsky farm in Vitkin Village, Israel, during the 2001 harvest. The Owners Doron Belogolovsky and his wife Sharona Paz-Belogolovsky driven By Asaf Paz- Sharona’s brother had made Vitkin Winery to what is considered to be one of the most fascinating wineries in the Israeli wine industry, by virtue of its expertise in producing original wines from varieties which have not yet reached their potential: Carignan, Viognier, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Franc, Johannesburg Riesling, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, and other surprises, which come in three series: , “Vitkin” , “Israeli Journey” and the “Dessert Wines” series. Apart from two experimental vineyards planted on Vitkin Village land since 2002, the winery’s main vineyards are planted all over the country: the Ella Valley, Judean Hills, Jerusalem Mountains and Carmel Mountain slopes. The winery grows its grapes in these vineyards, under total and continuous control of all the processes of growth, from the matching of the variety to the nature of the soil and climate of the vineyard location and until the time of harvest.
